Defining messaging goals

- It's really important when you start a project to think about your end goal. What are you trying to do with your audience? Are you trying to convince them of some point of view? Are you trying to educate them about a particular issue? Are you trying to train them on something? Are you trying to convince somebody to become a customer of your particular company or buy a particular product or service? Maybe you're a not-for-profit and you're trying to talk about your impact in the world in order to convince donors to give you contributions. So there's lots of different possible goals for corporate video project and it's important to think about those goals before you really get started. The best way to get at your goals is to ask a lot of questions.
