- Defining the objectives of each project is a very, very, very important step. This is the part where you have a very clear and honest conversation with your client to determine what is the work that needs to be done, by who, and delivered when? That needs to be super-clear. A second layer to that is how do we know this project is successful? And you would be surprised to find that a lot of clients don't have an answer to this. So finding that answer is part of the value that you bring to the table. I have two kinds of tips. One is for creatives, meaning you, the people shooting the projects. And the second set of tips is for client, meaning the people hiring us to shoot those videos. Tips for creatives.
