- There's one more player that I really like for mobile devices, and that's the SoundCloud Player. SoundCloud is a rich vibrant community particularly designed around music and audio content. You'll find some podcasters using it, but a lot of things like spoken-word, books, and concerts, independent music, and it's a community where people freely share audio. Now, it does respect copyright and it's a very professional community, but I particularly like their player, as it works very well on mobile devices and it allows you to also embed into things like a blog. With SoundCloud, you can put the player directly onto a website. It also offers a native app for both iOS and Android. So if somebody encounters that content, it can trigger the app on their device for a better experience. It's a streaming audio player, but people who pay a small monthly fee can capture streams for offline access, as well. This is useful. That offline access is quite interesting.
