- Our next step, once the video is converted, is to bring it into Premiere. Now, sometimes you can import directly because some cameras have plugins. But in any case, bringing in the VR video requires that you interpret it correctly, and that we get a correct sequence setup that is marked as being virtual reality so Premiere knows how to handle the content. In order for Premiere to read the Insta360 video files, you'll need to install the Insta360 Studio software. Just visit Insta360.com in order to download it to your machine. The free software allows you to not only process the footage, but also includes a plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro that lets you view and edit the files straight from the camera without having to stitch it or re-render it first. Now that we've launched Premiere Pro, let's choose to create a new project. I'll navigate to the folder, and click Choose. And we'll call this VRTour_PremierePro.
