Editing essentials with Camtasia
(cheerful music) - So Rich, now that we have recorded our amazing Photoshop tutorial on using lookup tables, it's time to get it into Camtasia to do some editing. And the first thing you'll notice about Camtasia is that it uses kind of the same paradigm that a lot of editing applications use, and that is that we can see our footage up here in the kind of viewer area, and then down here at the bottom of the screen, we have our timeline. - [Rich] And that's just a visual representation of the duration. - [Rob] Right, exactly. And we can over here, on the left-hand side of the screen, see different things that we might want to add to our timeline things like transitions, or animating things. We can even add effects and visual effects and things of that nature. Now, this is not meant to be a complete Camtasia tutorial, so I just want to show you kind of some of the basics.
