- When creating video, the number one rule is to just start. A great video does not require perfection but we all want to create something we're proud of. Let's discuss avoiding one rookie mistake virtually all video content creators have made: not stabilizing the camera. This is very distracting and takes away from the quality of the content you've produced. Depending on where and how you planned to film, there's different equipment you can use to keep your frame nice and still. Whether you're filming while walking, sitting at a coffee shop, at home on your couch, you have several options. A selfie stick, a PopSocket, or a gimbal are three great options. These can be used for video captured on phones but other versions are available for cameras with the exception of a PopSocket.
