- I've got an exercise for you that will help you set your goals and kind of visual those goals, 'cause hey, we're visual thinkers here. So I want you to write down three goals that you want to make happen by this time next year. Put it in your calendar. I want you to put a little tickler in the nine-month mark, and then another one at the 12-month-mark, and see how you do. Now, I want you to share your three item list with at least one other person that you trust. I want you to ask them to kind of check in with you at the six-month mark and see how you're doing, getting to those goals maybe. What might be your stumbling block, or what might be some things that would help you succeed. The second part's where it gets fun. Set a timer for 60 seconds, write down every word that comes to mind about these priorities for you for the year. Doesn't matter, could be crazy, radical ideas, whatever it is.
