Exercise files

- If your membership includes it, there's a small collection of exercise files that you might find handy. This includes a checklist for getting ready, as well as an image that I'm going to use to produce a sample screencast. But ideally, you use some of your own content. So be sure to pull together something that you'd like to share. Maybe a website that you want to share with the world or a document that you need to walk someone through. In any case, you don't really need much to get started in this course. Along the way, we will identify some software options and explore those in general. And I'll try to give you a few different options to consider. Most of these tools have available demos so you can try them out before making a purchase. And if you decide that there's a tool that you really love, chances are there's some extra coverage in the library here so you can explore some of these in depth. But don't worry. I'm going to give you all the things you need to get up and running and really to make sure that your audio and video quality is excellent because what I've learned is that people will stop watching your content if the audio is bad. And nobody wants to look poor on camera. So we'll talk about some strategies so you have good lighting and good image quality. Okay, let's go ahead and get started.
