Exporting VR video from Final Cut Pro X
- Now that the video is edited in Final Cut Pro X, it's time to export. To do this we're going to send the project to Compressor to create a new video file. Simply go to the file menu and choose Send to Compressor. This will take the current sequence and hand it off to Compressor, which is the companion application designed for creating optimized movies for sharing. Now, you'll notice that the rough cut is loaded. It takes a moment to hand off the file, but then we can start to set up different outputs. Let's click Add here and choose some different outlets. First up, I'll make a ProRes option here and tell it to store this to my desktop for now. You can always choose a new specific folder as well. This'll give me an archival version for backup. Now let's go Add here and add another one, and we'll choose the Publish to YouTube option, and store that to the desktop and click OK. Let's bring up the settings here. And we just need to check a little bit of information. Everything's fine…
