- You've hired some great voice-actors, but how and where will you record them? If you have good recording equipment and a quiet room, you can record 'em with your home or office. Many professional voice-actors have their own expensive recording suite, so you can actually direct them over the phone or Skype. Be sure you watch the video in this course on long-distance voice recording. Once again, Google search is your friend. But if you wanted a more detailed search, you can start by asking your production friends to recommend a good recording studio in your area. You can also check with your local film commission office or their online website. Now, personally, I like to use productionhub.com. There, you can find local studios, as well as studios in other cities, in case your voice talent lives in another town.
