Fine-tuning lens correction
- Sometimes when working it may not be perfect when you go to apply Lens Correction. Maybe your camera was shooting slightly off angle or from down below, and you've introduced additional distortion caused by perspective, or maybe you don't have a lens profile. Fortunately, there are plenty of tools so you can manually adjust this. Let's take a look at two still images here. In this case, we're going to apply both automatic and manual lens correction. If I open up a Raw file by default, you'll see the Adobe Camera Raw interface. What you want to do is come down to the optic section here, and you'll see that it can actually find a profile in this case, I'll choose use profile corrections and you see it fix the shot. If you twirl down the disclosure triangle you could see what was in play. In this case for example, this landscape was shot on a Nikon, using a zoom lens and it read in that 18 to 70 millimeter the same…
