- You might've noticed though, a couple of instances where the audio hit red. That's because it was a touch loud and potentially distorting. What we could do is select all of the clips here, Command + A, and go to the audio tab. I'm going to tell it to smooth the volume levels. This will get a consistent volume all the way through. I'm also going to lower the volume slightly to 90%. If we let that redraw, you'll see the new audio wave forms they're no longer hitting distortion and they seem pretty clean. Now with the video edits here you have a choice to make. A lot of folks do Screencast where they keep the person in the picture in the lower corner the whole time. I'm not a big fan of those because it makes it really easy to see the mistakes, you also can't condense things, effectively you have to be perfect the whole time.
