- As you try to build accountability amongst your team there are several things you can do to help this process. First, mentor individuals. Not only are you there to lead the project, you're there to build future leaders. You need to ensure that people know that they're in charge of things and that they're starting to grow as leaders themselves. To do this, you need to mentor them as individuals.
