Getting an external review for time estimation

- Sometimes peer review is not enough. The step of external review allows somebody with really fresh eyes to look at things. This might be a peer that works in a different market. Maybe a colleague that you used to work with that changed jobs or moved. You have to be careful that you're not going to reveal information to a competitor, but that you do have people that you can trust or ask for opinions. You might not give them the whole project plan, but have them look something over for plasibility or forgotten charges. It's also a great idea to talk to those strategic partners. If there's key vendors you're using, ask them. If you're getting ready to book a food stylist for a shoot make sure you understand if there's going to be additional equipment or things that they need.
