- Being in the iTunes store is great, but if you don't take the effort to make sure that you're discoverable, well it's great that you're carried, but no one will find you. There are three major strategies that you can employ to help people find your content. And while this is specifically designed for the iTunes store, these rules will help you with other search platforms as well. In iTunes there are really three potential ways that someone will find your content. The first is search followed by featured content that's hand selected by Apple as well as top lists which lists some of the top performers based on a certain time period. If you understand these three methods you can help improve the chances of being found. For search, results are returned based on popularity and relevance.
