Getting the most out of your location

- When looking for locations, try to find locations that you can get the most out of. Multiple scenes in one location is a great thing. The more you can get out of one location, the more you're going to save money in your budget. So dressing and staging a scene can eat up a lot of your production time on set. That could take hours to make it perfect. But if you find a location that has a lot of those assets already there, then you can use that time in actual production shooting time. Try and reduce your location changes. If you have two locations and they're perfect but they're an hour away, you have to remember that is adding an hour of breakdown time for your production, and hour of travel time, and then an hour of setting back up on a good day.
