Getting perfect edges
to look at some tools and also some techniques to refine the edges of your matte. And these edges, uuhh, almost always the problem when you're trying to key. Often times they go too much in one direction or another. They might have too much of the background sometimes or they might have, eat into the matte too much and kind of destroy edge details and stuff like that. let's start with this example we were talking about in the last tutorial from the shot that nearly ended my life it was so horrific working on this. And I have here my Layer window open, my Layer panel with my Composition panel. And here in the Layer panel is where we do all of our work. And as it will always tell you when you're working with Roto Brush and Refine Edge, it's best to do this in full resolution, which you can change over here in the Composition panel. I'm going to take this dropdown from quarter to full, and you can see that when it loads up eventually, come on, we can see that that resolution change…
