- [Instructor] So when it comes to the growth of online ads including online video ads, we wanna look no further than this graph that's about to appear in front of you. So this is showing an online ad dollar spend in the billions of dollars from 2010 to 2017. From 2010, $63 billion were spent on online ads and of now, 2017, we're looking at $209 billion. That was an estimate at the time, so I'm not exactly sure the entire figure, but my source was MAGNA if you'd like to check it for yourself. We can see the steady increase in expenditure in terms of online ads and this number is just expected to go up and up. Now, let's look at this and compare it to traditional advertising spending such as TV advertising spends, so in green, I have my TV ad spends, and you can see here that there's a steady trend of advertising rising from 2002 to about, in the future 2020, that's the expected amount people are expect to spend on TVs, but what is really really interesting is the growth of digital ads…
