How to get comfortable in front of the camera

- Hi, I'm Eduardo Angel. Welcome to 1 Person Crew Tips and Tricks. This week, we will talk about tips on getting more comfortable in front of the camera. A very typical approach is to use a teleprompter. So you write the script or write the questions and/or answers, depending on who's in front of the camera, and then you are reading to the teleprompter and looking at the lens. So the thing to be very careful about that is that the eyes need to be in line with the lens, otherwise it's very confusing. Imagine I'm doing this. I'm looking slightly off the lens and I'm recording and I'm reading something. So there is no engagement with the viewer. There's a big difference. Also, the speed of the teleprompter needs to match the speed of the person reading. So it cannot be too fast or too slow. So the person is not interrupting and pausing, waiting for the lines to appear. But I don't use teleprompters. I don't like…
