- When measuring a video's success, it's important to be aware of different video marketing metrics, such as impressions, total views, play rate, view length, engagement rate, and conversions. To learn what each of these is, watch the previous video. But here, I want to talk about some ways that you can use this data to your advantage. The first thing I want to say is that because video contains the very valuable component of time, video analytics allow you zero in on exactly how and where a video is most effective. This gives you more multidimensional feedback than measuring the effectiveness of an article, for example.
