Identifying your stakeholders

- Stakeholders is a term that just means anyone who has a vested interest in the outcome of this project. Usually there are two kinds of stakeholders, there's internal stakeholders that might be at the company that's producing the video or the organization. And there's external stakeholders that might be audience members or others. For internal stakeholders we want to define who's got decision-making authority and who has really important content that they need to communicate to us as part of the production team. So sometimes the person with authority to say yes or no might not be the day-to-day person you are working with. And you need a point of contact who's going to help you reach those other stakeholders who might have important information. They might have information about a product or a process or something about the organization. And then there are those external people, the external people might be donors…
