- Before we get into the nitty gritty, it's important to take a big picture look at some of the key trends that may affect you as you make decisions about using crews for your video productions. If you're producing content for an internal communications team, then you know video consumption is rising at an exponential rate with more video platforms than ever. And video viewers aren't just consumers, they're also content creators. How do this affect your choices when hiring an outside video crew? Well it means that you need to balance two key elements. First you probably want speed to acquire, edit, and post your video content quickly. But second, you also want to consider increased downstream flexibility for that very same content.
