Importing VR video into Final Cut Pro X
- Editing video in Final Cut Pro X is another way to work with VR video. And the process is pretty straightforward. But like most video editing tools, we need to make sure the footage is in the right format first. Let's explore transcoding the footage to the correct interpretation settings and file formats that Final Cut Pro X can work with. In order to edit your video in Final Cut Pro X, you're going to need to make sure it's properly stitched. It's going to vary from camera to camera. But you'll likely have with different virtual tour cameras shots that look more like this. In this case it's the two lenses with a slight overlap. This data needs to be combined into a rectilinear type image. So let's go ahead and drop this in. And this tool I'm using here is for the Ricoh Theta camera.
