- [Instructor] As I've mentioned in this chapter, probably a few times, maybe like a million times, there are often issues when X parting your timeline from Premiere into DaVinci Resolve. Lots of stuff doesn't come over correctly or just doesn't come over at all. For example, nested sequences in premiere don't usually show up at all in Resolve. This can be a big problem because you think nested sequences can be an efficient way to edit. For videos that I'm not exporting to Resolve, I like to use nested sequences to edit pieces of the program like scenes or entire acts. Also Premier often forces you to use nested sequences for certain functions and effects. So even if you remove the effect, the contents in the nested sequence might not be recognized in Resolve.
