Keying a green screen with zMatte

- [Instructor] Let's try working with a more traditional green-screen shot, and here, the goal is to cut this cat out, and place the cat back on top of the new background, right here. To do that, we need a chroma key tool. In Silhouette, you can use the ZMatte node, which you can find in the Silhouettes and the Key category, along with the Power Matte. I'll go ahead and drag ZMatte in. There's quite a few inputs and outputs, so we have to think about the connections. I'll disconnect the wire from the output, and here I want the green screen to go into the first input, which is called Input. ZMatte can function as its own compositor, so I can combine a new background right here with this node. To do that, I need to connect the bird footage to the second input, which is called Background. In order to see that composite result, I need to choose a different output, this time, the second output, which is called Composite.…
