Knowing when to go DIY or bring in a pro partner

- There's a fine line of knowing when to try to undertake a livestream program on your own and when to secure a pro partner. Coming from an agency background and now providing pro level service for corporate, government, media, and nonprofit clients, I've been on both sides of the question. From my days on the buyer side, I posed a few simple questions to myself to make a smart decision. The first question I asked was do I have the knowledge and experience to deliver a successful program? Second, do I have the experienced personnel at my disposal to support this? Third, do I have the equipment or the means to acquire what I need to execute what's being asked of me? If the answer was no to any of these questions, I knew it was time to hire a specialized vendor to partner with me. If the budget wasn't there to support hiring a vendor, then I had to make the case that going live was not a viable option.
