The Lens Blur effect in Photoshop

- Sometimes when you're working with an image, you'd like to adjust the depth of field. Now, depth of field generally refers to the amount of area that's going to be focus in a photograph and when we say something has a shallow depth of field, it means that the background or objects that are further away tend to fall out of focus. This could be very attractive so that you draw the attention to the primary subject. But sometimes, this is really hard to do because of lighting conditions or other technical limitations. Fortunately, Photoshop has a versatile lens blur effect that allows you to tweak this. Let me show you when it works on stills and then we'll move into After Effects where we can apply it to video.
