Linear lens correction
- So Rich, as you know, I work on a lot of broadcast shows, and GoPros are employed all the time in reality because they can go anywhere, you know? Put 'em on a car, put 'em in a... - [Rich] They're almost disposable, you're not worried about the camera. - Exactly, right? Now, one of the things when you watch down one of these shows, at least in my finishing work, is that we're watching, you got beautiful RED shot, beautiful Cannon C300, and then you come to that shot and you go, "oh, there's the GoPro shot." How do I know that that's the GoPro shot? - It's the wide-angle lens and the curvature that makes every straight line look like it was made out of rubber. - Exactly. The ability to identify action camera, which has kind of become just, you know... - [Rich] Some people like it, yeah. - Well, it's kind of like Kleenex, even if it wasn't a GoPro, people call that wide-angle distortion the GoPro look.
