- We've done a lot of pre-production work for this video, including ideation, structuring, and scripting. We've done all of this without actually being in the space where we're shooting the video. But there comes a time that you should visit the shoot location and start planning out the logistics more specifically. One of the main things you need to ensure is that your location is a quiet, controlled environment. This means that you should try to make sure that the space won't encounter any unintended interruptions for the duration of the shoot, and that you'll have total access to the space during the entire production. In order to ensure absolute quiet, you may need to unplug or turn off particularly loud appliances within your recording space, like a refrigerator or air conditioner, or heater. It's also important to make sure that you have adequate lighting in your space. This is especially true of bare-bones productions like this, because we don't have a lot of professional lights…
