- Now I have a day of the shoot checklist for you, and you can always add some other components to this depending on the specifics of your project. But this is kind of the baseline checklist that I like to tick off the morning of my shoot. What's my plan for load in load out and parking, and sometimes I'll even text those reminders to my team, or in your case, if you're hiring the outside team, you just text it to the lead person of that team. Location for gear once everything's been offloaded, have I got that situated for them? Signage, have I got signs up that say quiet please, filming in progress, or once you enter this room we may be videotaping you, so I make sure I have all my signs with me on my clipboard. I want to be sure that I've figured out a plan for breakfast and lunch. You don't always have to provide breakfast for crew, depends on the timing of your day, but sometimes they like to have coffee at least and figure out what the timing's going to be for lunch, is it going…
