- Managing expectations is a huge part of managing relationships. And one of the things you're gonna want to do with your clients is set up those clear workflow checklists, the ones we talked about that are gonna be attached to your contract. But don't just leave them laying on a shelf. Make sure you're referring to them. I can't tell you how many times I've gone back and looked at the contract and realized, oh, my gosh, we outlined this, this, and this. We need to make sure we're doing that or we're talking to the client if they've decided they don't want to do those interim workflow checklist projects. So it's important to go back to the contract. Don't just leave it on a shelf. Make sure you've got those checklists, those workflow items, those timelines, all those elements that you talked about with the client at the beginning.
