Mounting a phone to a tripod
- Rob, I love these little handheld rigs we talked about, but sometimes you want a step up. I've noticed there you adapted the handle. It can kind of actually set down like a mini tripod. - Yeah, I wouldn't really call it a tripod. I would just call this something that can sit flat and sort of work. A lot of these handheld rigs if you kind of rig them the right way they can sit flat on a stable surface like a countertop here. In this case I've just set that flat. I'm shooting out this way and the cool thing about it is because of the angle of view of the camera, I'm not actually seeing this little leg in front. That's something that also, just to be sure you test your video, so you don't have arms or attachments in the way. - This particular unit that I use can actually detach which is kind of nice.
