- Once you have your script, it's very important to break it down into even more steps such as adding notes to your actual script. Adding notes could basically give you direction in terms of what video imagery is going to go over the actual questions that are gonna be answered in our case, along with combining that with storyboards can really help drive your narrative piece. Now, storyboards could take on actually hiring a storyboard artist to break down specifically the entire video ad into a series of concrete moves that also explain camera movement. Another alternative that I use a lot of time on production is simply Pinterest. Once I have a script broken down or in my series of questions, along with the B-roll which I want to capture, I will go to Pinterest to look for visual images that inspire me.
