- Mind maps are a great creative tool, but they get a little tricky if you have to share the information with others. Folks may not think the way that you do. Do you start in the center? Do you go clockwise? Do you read left to right or top to bottom? Pretty quickly, it's hard to understand the exact order. That's why we'll revert to something much more standard that resembles the table of contents in a book, or a detailed outline like you might use for a meeting agenda. Here's an example of the same information we talked about earlier translated into something that we could use as an outline. Here, you'll see the key information, the title of the video. You'll notice that we have some general information about the description, a target for the skill level required, and the runtime. And then we apply the standard chapter and heading level.
