Overview of Silhouette
- [Instructor] So what is Silhouette? Boris FX Silhouette is a visual effects and post-production compositing program. It specializes in paint fixing and rotoscoping, that said it carries a wide variety of nodes you can use for just about every compositing task. It is node based, so it's similar to the Foundry Nuke or DaVinci Fusion. If you haven't used a node based system before, that's okay, it's fairly easy to learn the basics to get up to speed. In this course, we will talk about the basics, we'll also go into some of the unique features and functions available to Silhouette, such as those assigned for rotoscoping. So let's get started with some of the basics and Silhouette.
