- [Instructor] Now I'm going to turn off all of these, not the roto-brush, but turn off all these other effects that we just added. And I want to share with you what is probably the great last resort for the compositing artist. When you're really stuck and things aren't working, you have to use manual painting. So I changed resolution here to to quarter, even though that really messes up our matte, it doesn't give us tons of accuracy, it still allows us to be a little bit more nimble for this training. So as I move around here I'm going to get to a problem frame. That looks pretty good. A lot of our keying methods just aren't going to do a great job of getting rid of a lot just little extra details like this. And sometimes you have to manually paint it out, like literally paint it. So here's what we're going to do is I'm going to go ahead and with the layer panel open double click the layer if you don't have that open, but I'm going to select the paintbrush tool.
