Planar tracking

- [Instructor] Silhouette includes a second type of tracker. That's a planar tracker. A planar tracker is designed to track a shape through space as if it's planar where undergoes rotational and perspective changes. Sometimes that offers a better solution than the point tracker. For example, with this project, we have a car driving towards the camera. Let's say we wanted to isolate the license plate and blur it. This is a great place for a planar tracker. This project is partially set up. I've connected the blur node and a roto node. And I'll use the roto node to create the shape and to motion track. I'll go straight to the tracker and take a look. Once again, we have the point tracker, planar tracker, and Mocha tracker. The planar tracker and Mocha tracker are both planar trackers, although they are two slight variations of the same technique.
