- Okay, now that we've set up our recording space and have some background options, let's talk about polishing the frame, adjusting those details that will take your content from amateur to pro. Let's take a look at some of my options. First, the Japanese screen look, we know that this is our bright cheerful option. Currently, the shot has a good amount of depth, I'm centered in the frame and the screen covers the right two thirds of the frame. The remaining third of the frame shows a bit of my bedroom. I think that the painting in the background is a bit too busy, mixed with the flowers on the screen, so I'll remove that. All right, that's feeling better, but the frame still feels a little unbalanced. Let's see what happens when I turn on the lamp in the background. See that?
