Production setup
- Let's talk about a few things that can improve your overall production. I've talked before about eliminating distractions in the background, but you should also consider what your aesthetic, what your entire set piece really looks like. This is more than just where you have your tripod and your cameras, but it does come down to some intentionality as far as what is appropriate to the scene? If you were somebody who's doing videos about tech, maybe you want some of those props in the background, maybe you want some of the technology you use or a computer screen, or a laptop in front of you, something that kind of makes sense based on what you're talking about. If you were doing makeup or beauty tutorials, then it's obvious that you'd want a set piece that maybe has some of those elements in it so that people can put this entire thing into context.
