- You've set up your webcam environment and equipment, and you prepared yourself, and now you're ready to present. It'll either be live in front of a virtual audience, or record it, for your audience to watch later. I'd like to discuss both of these, starting with a live presentation. When you're live, there's a lot to keep track of. You're delivering your content with confidence and style, you're sharing slides and visuals, you're maintaining eye contact and are mindful of all your nonverbal cues. You're engaging with actual people in real time, you're ready to tackle technical issues every step of the way, it's a lot. But I've done lots of live presentations in my day. And I'll tell you that while stress can run higher amid all that multitasking, embrace it. When you're live, you have the opportunity to channel your own energy and feed off of your audience, which can be a huge benefit for how you present yourself.…
