Reconciling billing

- Now that you've moved towards the end, you need to reconcile the final bill. This final bill has to incorporate all of the changes. Look at what your client has asked for, as well as be aware of any constraints. It's possible that the project you were working on had a not to exceed cap, so unless you got written authorization to go over, or even if you did, it might be difficult to push the budget up to the final number. Be sure to review any agreements that you had about total billing. Then go back to the initial budget and the change orders and be sure to reconcile things. What you're doing here is accounting for all of the changes and the variations and making sure that you're paid for those. Did the final run time line up? Did you deliver the number of images that you promised or less or more? Remember, this final bill may be lower or higher, but it's critically important that you're honest about it. Now, draw…
