Reminders for the crew prior to the shoot day
- There are a number of things you're going to want to remind your crew about prior to the shoot. First, content, what your project is about, who it's for, who or what the primary on-camera subject is. Arrivals, make sure you review those crew call times and where they're supposed to pull in, where they're supposed to park, where the gear is supposed to go. Meals, make sure you're making those arrangements either for the food to be brought in or you've allotted specific amounts of time and sufficient amounts of time for the crew to go off-site to eat. Attire, it's actually important for you to communicate with the crew what you want them to wear on the shoot, if it's something other than just what they would most comfortably wear. So for example, there might be circumstances where the crew should wear coat and tie because it's a kind of a formal event and we don't want to look so out of place.
