- When you're working for big-screen delivery, you can go for some more wide shots, panoramas, and fast-paced sequences. You can also introduce more depth of field and use this content to help you tell the story. So basically the location that your shot is in, the environment, that can be context for a character, a person who is speaking on the screen. And this will require spending a little bit more time casting light on those scenic elements and maybe a little bit add to the budget. You can frame people in a way that allows you to introduce graphics to the side of them, or as we've talked about in an earlier chapter, you could shoot a wider framing like in a 4K and be able to crop in or move the positioning of the person if you're delivering in 2K. Sometimes, I'm even providing center-screen content that is actually different from what side screens or outboard screens, as we call them, are doing, and taken all together, this tells a multi-platform story.
