- So I'm here in Lindsey Mickelson's studio. I'm doing an initial location scout before we get to shoot the video ad tomorrow. I think it's extremely important to do an initial location scout so that you get familiar with the areas that you're gonna shoot in for your video ad. Now, one of the limitations that Lindsey and I had was I am not actually very close to her studio at all. I live in Toronto, Canada, and I really wanted to get a sense for the locations that we would be shooting at. I originally asked Lindsey to send me some photos so I would get a sense for the space. I also did a little bit of research on my own of the surrounding area, using Google Maps, where I was able to see various cool locations of different beaches that we could potentially go to for a sunset to acquire some of that b-roll footage.
