Scripting the video
- We've got a pretty good high-level idea of how this film will play out. As you can see, we've got our more emotional performances acting as the foundation, and the informational interviews fleshing out the main part of the narrative. As you can imagine, part of this breakdown can be highly scripted, the other not as much. So let's talk about this. Initially when Devon decided to feature Hayden's memoir for this video, we thought we might be able to feature the original text as-is. However, after defining the specifics of our plan, we decided to ask Hayden to revise the script to make the ideas clearer and stronger. And so here is the script that we ended up with. As you can see, each section stands alone, but also feeds into the next section, and also feeds in to the interview-based segments that will be placed within this structure.
