- Hey everybody, last lesson we talked about how to pitch the client. And this lesson, we're going to talk about how to seal the deal. And that's going to involve contracts, appearance releases, and invoices. Now to start off, you don't need a contract, per se, working with some early clients, especially maybe if it's family or friends. But I recommend one because it helps you from getting burned, doing all this work, and then not having the client deliver. 'Cause the worst thing to do is to shoot, edit, and then they suddenly don't pay up, and you don't really have anything that can help your cause to get that money back. So if you want to start out with an early contract, there's a lot of great sites like LegalZoom that will give you sort of a template to work with.
