- Let's continue our journey of comparing various at-home recording options by talking about recording space set up and backgrounds. First, let me just be transparent about my own home recording opportunities and limitations. My options are fairly restricted. It's summertime. My three children and their nanny are home all day long. Everyone is constantly coming and going. So the majority of my home is pretty off limits. But I say within the boundaries of restrictions comes the excitement of innovation. Knowing how to use available light, space, and backdrops allow you to customize the look and feel of your content no matter where you are. So for me, the only quiet recording environment is upstairs in my bedroom. It's a nice space.
