- Let's talk about setting up your physical work space which is extremely important. When you're a freelancer you have a lot of different options for where you're going to work. You can work out of your house. You can work out of leased private space. You can share lease space. There's lots of co-working spaces now that charge monthly smaller amounts of rent and there are lots of different people working there all different hours of the day and night. Obviously you can sublet space. It could be from one of your regular vendors or even from a client. I personally have decided to work out of a home office even though I used to work out of leased space. So there's lots of different options you can try and see what works for you. One thing you might consider is that you use one space for meetings which you can rent out meeting spaces and another space for your gear especially if you rent gear out and other people need to have access to it and you can have a coded access door for that.
