- As we saw in the previous video sound is very important to any video production. Regardless if we record sound on location or if we add it in post. In this video I would like to go over some of the tools that work really well for one person group productions and share with you some of the advantages and disadvantages of each tool. The first tool we're going to have today is these tiny field recorder that I typically use when I'm scouting locations. And I use it to record all the things I'm experiencing, like the height of the ceilings, the amount of power outlets noises in the neighborhood and so on. The beauty of this device is that you can use it as a recorder, as a microphone, but you can also attach a lavalier mic or a wireless system to it.
