- Hey everybody, welcome back! We're now going to talk a little bit about being conversational on camera. A lot of people get up in front of the camera and they sound what we call read-y. Sounds like they're just reading off of something, they might actually be doing just that. But even if you're reading off of a script or a teleprompter, the goal's to come off sounding conversational. Which basically is to say, it sounds as if, let's say we're reading a prompter, the words that we're reading as if we're the ones speaking those words, that the words are coming from us, not off of a screen. So the idea is to sound as organic and genuine as possible. One of the keys, and this is actually the most important thing in all of on camera performance, is having energy in your delivery, all right? You got to bring energy to your delivery, it's like the batter of the cake, so to speak. Nothing else really gets off the ground…
